How to delete your account
Directly in the app (immediate):
- Open CoinLens – Coin Scanner.
- Tap the round avatar with your initials at the top left to open Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm by tapping Delete everything.
If you use the app as a guest, without an account, the button in step 3 is called Delete my data; the rest is the same.
Deletion is immediate and permanent: it cannot be undone.
If you no longer have access to the app, email service@sidnarlab.com from the address associated with your account, stating that you want your CoinLens account deleted. We process such requests within 30 days.
Data that is deleted
When you delete your account we permanently remove:
- your account and sign-in credentials (email address, user identifier);
- your entire coin collection (saved coins, condition grade, any value you entered, corrected year, personal notes);
- all coin photos you captured or uploaded;
- your scan history;
- any error reports you submitted;
- the subscription status stored in our app.
Data that is retained
- Technical service-usage data (number of scans performed and processing cost) is kept in anonymous form, stripped of any reference to your account, for accounting and service-cost monitoring. It can no longer be linked to you.
- Coin catalog entries (physical facts, history, catalog values) are not personal data and remain in the app’s shared catalog, available to all users.
- Any data we are legally required to keep (e.g. tax records relating to a purchased subscription), for the period required by applicable law.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription, which is managed by Google Play. To cancel it: Google Play Store → profile picture → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → CoinLens → Cancel subscription.
Deleting only part of your data (without closing your account)
- Individual coins: open the coin in your collection, tap Edit, then Remove from collection. The coin and its photos are permanently deleted; your account stays active.
- Other requests: email service@sidnarlab.com specifying which data you want deleted. We reply within 30 days.
